@ Win Your Position ... debunk their best argument

In most political discussion, people argue subjectively and with limited facts. They will offer up multiple arguments to support what they perceive is factual. How do you argue with a person and win by supporting your position? Simple Debunk. Webster says debunk: to expose the sham or falseness of and debunk: a legend.

Approach it this way:

• listen to what the person has to say
• state "there seem to be several arguments supporting your position"
• then ask "out of those arguments, which one is your best one to support what you are saying?"
• and follow up by saying "if I can convince you that your BEST argument is not true or not factual, will you agree that all other arguments you presented are equally less factual?"
• you then proceed debunk there best position with questions about sources of their information, what is first hand versus 'fake' or unverified sources and offer alternatives to their best argument.
