What I mean ...
1. Most times we really don't listen to others we are having a discussion
2. We often listen to disagree or respond
3. We also only listen for ideas that support our own thoughts or positions
Don’t … it’s best to listen FIRST to understand, then and ONLY then can you respond. Most of the time when people are given the opportunity to speak completely, the listener can better understand what they are saying and additional facts are provided that will allow you to respond better.
