Assumptions can be either true or false and used as a starting point for doing something
Assumptions need to be checked since people make assumptions that may not be fact
When your inside voice says ‘ASSUMPTION’ it’s time to ask “what can I do to see if it’s true or false?”
Then, get facts or (safely) test the assumption to determine if it’s correct or false/wrong
Always check using two different or independent ways to be sure
